Which is better to have in a birthday party for a 6-year old boy - a clown or a magician? I wish we can have both, but we would like to pour our budget mainly on the food and favours.

I would opt for the clown. Children can receive one on one time with a clown. The clown can adjust his or her activities accordingly. Whereas, a magician needs an audience that will sit still – not sure if 6 years old are mature enough to appreciate magic.

You can actually hire a clown who knows magic. That would be so much better than having just either one.
