Family Reunion 5 Months, 1 Week ago
Our large extended family with 4 generations will soon be having our reunion. My brother and I are to come up with some fun games just for adults, just for children and any age group. We have never had games before so am hoping someone on this forum could provide some family games that you have participated in. Thanks.

Hi, Giorgia! I have a few games in mind, but I'm not sure they would fit your event's venue. Where do you plan to hold your family reunion?

Thanks for asking Mayling. We have rented all the rooms at an Inn, which has plenty of lush green grass for sitting outdoors and playing. There is also a small lake nearby that is visible from the yard.

With the large space that you have, a scavenger hunt would be fun. You could divide the teams by immediate family, age group or have them pick a team number out of a hat to assemble an “at random team.”

We made up a trivia game just about our family.

In advance, we asked each member to provide some unique facts about themselves that others were likely not aware of. We forwarded all the trivia to my best friend to assemble the game so that we could all play at the reunion.

There was a lot of laughter and some interesting and funny facts about the older generation. We included trivia about the infants and toddlers too, such as how much he or she weighed when born or what their favorite toy was.

If you decide to make teams I would rather go for the "pick a numer out of a head move". It's far more fun if you are in a team that is randomly chosen.

Being happy doesn\'t mean that everything is perfect. It means that you\'ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.
