tie breaker needed, please... 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago
My brother and I have been arguing on whether or not to put the age of our mum on the party banner we plan to hang by the poolside. We are in the plans for Mum's surprise birthday party. He wants it to read: "Happy 60th birthday, Mum!" while I prefer leaving the age off. What do you think?

I would base it on how private your mum has been about her age throughout the years. Some women wish to hide their age then others celebrate it. Conversely, many men do not seem to care either way, similar to your brother.

I agree with Justin. You know your mum better than we do (actually, I don't know your mum ) so it is best that you base your decision on how she reacts when her age is discussed. If you really don't have a clue, not mentioning it in the banner is safer.
