My sis and her husband are opening an Inn/B&B. They plan to host afternoon tea for their guests and locals each day. I recommended that they purchase herbal tea as a wholesaler to save money. Does anyone have any experiences or tips I could share with them for purchasing tea as a wholesaler?

Your sister should buy wholesale to save on costs. She can actually get major discounts when buying in bulk. In addition, some outlets give free items to go with a bulk order. Advise her to always ask the wholesale outlet about their special offers for bulk orders.

Should they purchase wholesale, the teas would likely be fresher because it has not been sitting on the grocer shelves for weeks at a time. The taste of the tea will be important to draw the locals for daily tea.

Just need to be careful, though. They have to plan properly and make correct estimates of the amount they need. They don't want the taste of their tea to go flat after some time of leaving it in storage.
