I know the age of a guest does not matter anymore when you're older, but it sure does matter when you're having a party for a 7-year old.

Aside from classmates in school, we will also be inviting some kids in the neighbourhood. How old are the kids I should invite? Thanks!

I think that would be plus and minus 1 year. So, you can invite kids who are 6 to 8 years old. But you can also adjust a bit if you want.

I would only invite the children in the neighborhood that your child plays with. This may help in keeping peace at the party since kids at this age are apt to get into little tiffs over the smallest of issues.
