Going Chinese! 5 Months ago
My closest pals and I are avid followers of the Olympic games, and we have decided to celebrate the opening of the Beijing Olympics with a Chinese party!

Since it's going to be in my house, I'm in charge of main course. Any help?

Are you going for meat? Try the Sesame Chicken (chicken breasts marinated and cooked in soy sauce, maple syrup, ginger, pepper, Chinese spice mix and sesame seeds).

If you plan to have veggies, I recommend the Tofu and Vegetable Stir Fry (with tofu, broccoli, spinach and Chinese cabbage).

Don't forget the noodles!

Yes, don't ever forget the noodles.

I personally like the Longevity Noodles. Although this is more popular during birthdays, no one ever mentioned it can't be served in a Chinese-inspired just-for-fun party!

Hey, Bob! I guess this is the day you and your friends are waiting for. It's the opening of the Beijing Olympics!

Anyway, if you haven't decided yet on what to have for your party, I suggest you serve the Chop Suey. If you're not familiar how it is prepared, better order from a Chinese restaurant. Most Chinese dishes have special herbs and spices that make their food uniquely Chinese.
