Green Tea Desserts for Green Living Dinner Party 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I am putting together a green living dinner party and would like to serve some type of dessert that contains green tea. Any suggestions, beside the ice cream recipe already posted here.

I recommend green tea cookies. I don't have a recipe, but I have tried it during one of our family gatherings and they tasted uniquely yummy.

On our next family affair, I'll try to ask my cousins who prepared the cookies and I'll share the recipe with you.

Green Tea Cheesecake with Raspberries is an excellent choice. You can make it in advance. It makes a wonderful presentation with the green color from the cheesecake filling and fresh red raspberries for embellishment.

There is a delicious Green Tea Pound Cake recipe that I located on the internet. There are only 6 ingredients and takes very little time to prepare. http://japanesefood.about.com/od/japanesecake/r/greenteacake.htm

The famous American homemaker, Martha Stewart, has a delicious Green Tea Shortbread recipe on her website. The cookie cutters that she used were in the shapes of leaves and Japanese symbols, which would match your theme.
