Face Painting 5 Months ago
I plan to have a 'face painting' booth for my daughter's upcoming birthday party. Is there anybody who can give me some ideas on the kinds of paint to use? I need those that are not harmful and are easy to remove later on. Aside from buckets and brushes, are there some other things I need to prepare? Thanks.

Face paintings are so much fun! You will need water based paints (easy to wash off), several brushes (one for every color you're using), water buckets, mirrors (so the guests can see their faces after), moisturisers (to avoid skin irritations) and lots of tissue paper.

I'd like to add a few more things to Cary's list. I think you will also need:

- a waste bin
- a good supply of clean water
- several make-up sponges
- hair bands -- to protect hair
- color mixing trays
- a working table -- to keep things organized

A word of caution -- Keep away from eyes, nose and mouth when painting!

You may want to purchase some face painting stencils available in most hobby shops. Plus there a glitter friendly paints that I am sure the children would enjoy using.
