bridal showers 3 Months, 4 Weeks ago  
When is the best time to throw bridal showers or to organize the stag night?

Several funny movies have grooms who are late or are still mending a hangover during the wedding since the stag party was just the night before. We don't want that to happen to my friend and her husband-to-be. We want it earlier, but how early is alright?

Don't believe those movies. They usually exaggerate to make things funny.

In my circle of friends, we usually throw the bridal showers 2 weeks before the wedding day. The stag parties usually happen during the same night.

These events should be held four-six weeks before the wedding. The reason being is that the amount of time a bride has available is limited the last two weeks. Also, she may have one or more bridal shower or tea to accommodate a different group of friends. This will permit ample time for her to enjoy both occasions and address last minute needs before her big day.

I agree, the bride will be very busy during the last 2 weeks.

Aside from that, you also need to give the guests enough time between the bridal shower and the wedding to serve as a breather in the buying of gifts.
