tea-related songs 3 Months ago
I am throwing a tea appreciation party for my niece and a few of her friends. Do you know of any tea-related song? I need a song that can easily be learned by 5-7 year old kids.

Tea Party (composed by Ruth McConn Spencer and adapted by Terry Kluytmans) is a very cute song, which allows you and your young guests to personalize it by changing the names in the song.

Well you must use the “I’m a little teapot” song.

I'm a little teapot, Short and stout.
Here is my handle, here is my spout.
When I get all steamed up then I shout,
Just tip me over and pour me out

The classic comedy film 'Come Out Of The Pantry', released in 1935, featured the song 'Everything Stops for Tea', which was written by Al Goodhart, Al Hoffman, and Maurice Sigler.

The first 2 are my favourite stanzas.

Every nation in creation has its favourite drink
France is famous for its wine, it's beer in Germany
Turkey has its coffee and they serve it blacker than ink
Russians go for vodka and England loves its tea

Oh, the factories may be roaring
With a boom-a-lacka, zoom-a-lacka, wee
But there isn't any roar when the clock strikes four
Everything stops for tea
