I really enjoy Bollywood films. I thought it would be really fun to have a dinner party based on the theme. I fear some of my guests are not aware of what “bollywood” is thus I want to introduce them to all of the wonderful things about the movies. Do you forum posters out there have suggestions for my menu, games and decorations?

You could purchase some fabric and have a team contest, asking guests to design and decorate one sari within a certain amount of time. The team with the best sari each wins a CD of bollywood music.

You can put up frames of Bollywood movie posters on your walls so the guests could see them and maybe better appreciate them, too.
You can also show some interesting film clips. Choose your most favourite ones!

Your menu should include such items as Somosa, Pakora, Kabobs and plenty of curry spice. You should be able to accommodate any vegetarian guests as many of the foods do not include meat.
