I recently learned that tea has also been used as a significant ingredient in cosmetic products. I find this very interesting, and would like to check if there are other uses of tea, aside from being a beverage. Do you know any?
If you haven't tried it yet, you probably won't believe this. Tea is a very effective deodorizer. I put some leaves in my refrigerator, in my cabinets, and even in my shoes to control the odor. It leaves a fresh smell, too.
Thanks, Bob! I learned something new from you today.
Hi, Giancarlo. I know many people use tea leaves for first aid, like applying wet tea bags to skin to reduce the pain caused by sunburn and gargling with herbal tea for toothaches.
I've always been told to put all my used tea leaves on the garden but no one ever told me why!
I think perhaps it's a fertilizer or is it to dissuade the slugs?
After reading the blogs on this site, I noticed tea was used to tint eggs as decoration and that dried tea leaves can be placed in cat boxes to reduce odor.
