When there's somewhere I need to go to, I usually prepare my tea a few minutes before I leave the house and bring my tea with me. I am having problems with handling (spillage and tea temperature), though. For those who also have their tea on the go, how do you store it?
There's already a tea thermos that has a thermometer (so you can easily check the temperature of your tea) and a steeper (yes, a steeper! hurrah!). I'm still using a regular tea thermos, though. Not surprisingly, the thermos with thermometer and steeper is always out of stock.
Reading this thread, it somehow makes me feel good to know I have a nice tea thermos with me. I still have one concern about my thermos, though. It can only hold 8 oz of tea (so not enough! ). I still need to 'upgrade' to the 12-oz or 15-oz capacity so I don't have to bother on adding water every time.
A friend gave me an Asian tea thermos that works so perfectly. It has a double wall - the inside wall keeps the tea hot while outside wall, the one we can touch, remains cool. It also has 2 top layers - the outer layer keeps the beverage from spilling while the other layer is the steeper. I would like to guide you on where you can buy it, but I also don't know. I can't also ask my friend about it.
