tea varieties 3 Months, 1 Week ago
We've been talking a lot about tea varieties - green tea, black tea, oolong tea, white tea and many more. I'm just curious, does anybody know how many tea varieties are there? And what's the best one you've tasted?

That is very interesting, Laura. Come to think of it, there really are a lot of tea varieties!

I'm not sure how many varieties are there, but I would say green tea made in China is the best tea variety.

I read from somewhere that there are around 1,500 varieties of tea. Wow!

Out of the 1,500, I am proud to have approximately 40 tea varieties at home . I love the chamomile tea and the lavender tea as they have very pleasing aroma and flavour, but the vanilla flavoured black tea still tops my list.

With that plenty of varieties, I can't choose a single variety that I can consider as the sole best. I'll have to give you my top 5 (in no particular order). They are:

1. Orange Osmanthus Blooming Tea
2. Spicy Chocolate Green Tea
3. Banana Flavoured Green Tea
4. Lemon Rose Blooming Tea
5. Bolivian Black Tea (although Bolivian Green is also good)
