Order Problems?

1. My Switch or Maestro credit card keeps getting refused when I try to check out

We've encountered problems recently with some Switch or Maestro cards not being accepted by our online payment processor. One thing you can try is to ensure you put 2 numbers in the Issue number box  (e.g., if issue number on card is 4, put 04 in Issue number box).Also if there is NO issue number (and there is a start date) then enter 00 as the issue number. If this still doesn't work and you can't use an alternative card, please contact us by telephone on 0207 078 7610.

 

2. My shopping basket keeps emptying itself or no shipping options are displayed on checkout?

This is normally due to cookies being turned off in your browser. Like many websites, we use cookies to keep track of your order while you shop. They need to be enabled for the shopping basket to function correctly.


To enable cookies, follow the instructions below for the browser version you are using.


Mozilla Firefox (1.0 final release and earlier)
Go to the "Tools" menu.
Select "Options".
Select the "Privacy" icon in the left panel.
Check the box corresponding to "Allow sites to set cookies".
Click "OK" to save changes.

Netscape 7.1/Mozilla 5.0
Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu.
Click on the arrow next to "Privacy & Security" in the scrolling window to expand.
Under "Privacy & Security", select "Cookies."
Select "Enable all cookies".
Click "OK".

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0+
Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
Click on the "Privacy" tab.
Click the "Default" button (or manually slide the bar down to "Medium") under "Settings".
Click "OK".

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x
Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
Click on the "Security" tab.
Click the "Custom Level" button.
Scroll down to the "Cookies" section.
To enable:
Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to "Enable".
Set "Allow per-session cookies" to "Enable".
Click "OK".

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x
Select "Internet Options" from the View menu.
Click on the "Advanced" tab.
Scroll down to find "Cookies" within the "Security" section.
To enable:
Select "Always accept cookies".
Click "OK".

Netscape Communicator 4.x
Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu.
Find the "Cookies" section in the "Advanced" category.
To enable:
Select "Accept all cookies" (or "Enable all cookies").
Click "OK".

Safari for Mac OSX
Select "Preferences" from the Safari menu.
In the Safari Preferences window, click on the "Security" icon near the top of the window.
To enable:
Under Accept Cookies, make sure either the "Always" or "Only from sites you navigate to" options are selected.
Close the Safari Preferences window.

3. My coupon doesn't seem to work?

 If you have a coupon code, you'll need to enter it in the box on the shopping basket page and click on the submit button. If for some reason you think it doesn't get applied, simply add the code to the message box on the final checkout page. We will ensure your discount gets registered and will refund your credit card, Paypal or Google Checkout account the correct amount if necessary.
