Once reserved exclusively for the cups of emperors, the highest quality white tea (and ours of course!) comes from the high mountains of Fujian Province in China. Two days a year, tender silver tip tea buds are hand picked by local artisans just
before the leaf opens. White tea is the least processed of all teas, even including green tea and therefore offers the most health related benefits. In particular, white tea has the highest level of antioxidants and lowest level of caffeine - a winning combination which explains its rapidly increasing popularity with tea lovers everywhere.
