This blue cast iron teapot is beautifully made and includes a removable tea basket to help infuse loose leaf teas. It has a traditional Japanese hobnail design and is perfect for keeping tea piping hot over long periods. The interior of the teapot has an enamel finish.

Maximum Teapot capacity is 600ml. Normal usage capacity is 550ml. This teapot is perfectly sized to serve 2 large cups or many small cups in gong fu style.

We highly recommend using the optional trivet as the teapot can become quite hot during use. This robust cast iron teapot can also be used as a kettle on a gas or wood burning stove to boil water.
