Tea Rewards

A little gesture in every cup. Our Tea Rewards program gives something back each time you shop - whether you’re discovering a new infusion or returning to a timeless favourite.

How It Works

  • For every £1 you spend, you’ll earn 1 reward point.
  • Each point is worth £0.05 — so 100 points = £5 off your next order.
  • You can redeem your points once you’ve earned 100 or more, or let them build toward something special.

Earning Points

You’ll automatically earn points when:

  • You place an order while logged into your account
  • You redeem a gift card or use a discount code (you’ll still earn)
  • You buy for yourself - or send a thoughtful gift to someone else

Redeeming Points

Once you have at least 100 points:

  • Sign in to your account
  • Add your chosen teas or teaware to your basket
  • At the cart, you’ll see an option to “Redeem Rewards”

Please note: points can’t be used on products already discounted or on shipping costs, but they’ll apply to any full-price items in your order.

Can I Use Rewards with Discounts or Promo Codes?

Yes - with a gentle rule. You can use Tea Rewards and a promo code in the same basket, but they will only apply to separate items.

For example:

  • A promo code applies to a teapot
  • Tea Rewards apply to full-priced teas

Refer a Friend - Share the Joy, Earn Rewards

Love your tea? Tell your friends - and be rewarded together.

When you refer someone new to The Exotic Teapot:

  • They’ll receive £5 off their first order (when they spend £30 or more)
  • You’ll receive 200 reward points (£10) when they complete their purchase

It’s our way of saying thank you for sharing our story. There’s no limit to how many friends you can refer. Simply log into your account to start sharing your personal referral link.

Referral cookies are valid for 30 days. Rewards are issued after your friend’s first successful purchase.

A Few More Notes

  • Points are valid for 12 months from the date you earn them
  • You must be logged into your account to earn and redeem Tea Rewards
  • Referral discounts can be used by guests or registered customers
  • If you return an item, points earned or redeemed will be adjusted
  • We may update the Tea Rewards program from time to time to keep things balanced and beautiful
