The teapot was a bit smaller than I expected but works well with loose tea. i've tried a few others in past and this is definitely an upgrade in quality of glass. Highly recommend this company. Tim

I have used this teapot at least three times a day since purchasing it. Not only is it effective, it's also incredibly beautiful, making the tea-making process a meditative art, rather than just a means to an end. I drink tea to treat IBS, which can cause me a lot of pain, and this pot has made tea an enjoyable thing for me again, rather than just something I HAVE to drink.

The Exotic Teapot is on the expensive side, but the quality is impeccable.

Teapot was a Birthday present for a Friend. Excellent and Easy shopping experience, I was kept informed about the status of the order and delivery by both Exotic Teapot Company and DPD local who did the delivery. Teapot seemed smaller than thought would be, However, our Friend was delighted with the Teapot and still says it's fab! .

Unlike china, earthenware, glaze, cast iron or stainless steel strainers/infusers, glass is inert. It doesn't bind to the tannins left behind from black tea. If you've found you can no longer keep out the bitterness of black tea, no matter for how briefly you brew it, try a glass teapot. I recommend using a wire coil filter, which is easily cleaned each time, rather than a strainer, which is not. I also recommend not using the glass infuser unless brewing for more than one person at a time; even then it would be better to use a clean coil filter and decanting to a second pot. I find the glass infuser holds some flavour in. The Exotic Teapot Classic glass pot is superb quality. Easier to clean than the even more beautiful Prestige as the lid opening is bigger.

Excellent quality, long-lasting glass teapot (truely and technically the best material from which to make one) from the Exotic Teapot. First class service to boot. Highly recommended. I'm not a fan of the glass infuser, so the excellent staff put in a spare lid for me instead.

Absolutely love it! Also have the flowering teas and my grand daughter loves watching the flowers open, the tea tastes good too!

As a member of a tea club, I was pleased to receive a Chinese Flowering tea. Nothing would do but a glass teapot to see it's beauty. This teapot arrived really quickly, well packaged. It looked too delicate at first, but it has turned out to be light, elegant, a great pourer and a beauty to behold. I was worried that it would be hot to hold, but no, handling is easy. A n excellent product I look forward to years of enjoyment. :0)
